Your board is already governing AI.
The only question is whether it's doing it on purpose.

Agentic AI has quietly broken the foundational assumption underneath every governance framework your board currently relies on: that a human being sits somewhere in the decision chain.
Agentic AI doesn't wait to be asked. It acts, decides, and sequences consequences on its own, inside your organisation, right now, whether or not it has ever been presented to the board as "AI."
Most boards are still governing yesterday's AI problem: model bias, data privacy, generic ethics policy, while the real exposure has moved somewhere they aren't looking.
This is not a technology gap. It's a governance gap, and it sits squarely with the board.
Left unaddressed, this can lead to:
- The Accountability Vacuum, where no one can name who owns an AI system's decisions when something goes wrong, because no one was ever asked to.
- The Oversight Paradox, where boards approve AI tools they don't have the structures in place to actually monitor once they're live.
- The Risk Register Gap, where agentic AI is operating inside the business without ever being formally classified, logged, or risk-assessed.
Most directors learn how to ask good questions about strategy, finance, and risk, but never learn how to ask the specific questions agentic AI demands, because nobody has taught them what's structurally different about it yet. It's not your fault you don't know how to govern something built to act without waiting for you.
The truth is: when you master board-level AI governance, you don't need to become technical, and you don't need to understand how the models work under the hood.
You need one thing; the architecture to govern what you can't fully see, before it becomes a decision you're accountable for and never authorised.
INTRODUCING
The Discipline Dividend Certified Foundation Program
This certified program teaches non-executive directors, board committee members, senior executives preparing for board roles, and company secretaries how to govern agentic AI using the AIDA Framework — Accountability, Intelligence, Discipline, Assurance.
You'll leave with a completed Board Readiness Diagnostic, a 12–24 month AI governance roadmap, and a capstone Board Paper built specifically around your own organisation, not a hypothetical case study.
The program is delivered through four modules of short, board-focused video lessons, downloadable tools drawn directly from Andrea Slingsby's Governing the Ungovernable whitepaper, scenario-based quizzes, and applied activities you complete against your own board table current context.
Every tool is designed to be used in your next board meeting, not filed away after the course ends.

Start Module 1 this week and walk into your next board meeting able to name exactly where agentic AI is already operating in your organisation, governed or not, using the same four-module architecture directors are already applying at their own board tables, not abstract AI theory.

Meet Andrea
Who is Andrea Slingsby?
Andrea Slingsby is an experienced executive, board director, and advisor with more than three decades of leadership across industries and global organisations. She has held CEO and C-suite roles, led complex international turnarounds, served on and advised ASX-listed, private company and family office boards, and now works with boards and senior leaders to strengthen accountability, decision-making, and governance in the AI era.
Andrea began her career at the frontline and worked her way through functional leadership, global HR, and operational roles into operational executive and board positions. Her reputation was built taking on the assignments where drift and weak governance had quietly become normal, and rebuilding the disciplined architecture needed to restore trust and performance. That pattern is the foundation of her DDD Framework™ -Drift, Discipline, Dividend, from her book The Discipline Dividend, and it's the same lived boardroom experience the AIDA Framework in this program is drawn directly from, not theory.
She is the author of The Discipline Dividend: The Leadership Edge That AI Cannot Replace and the Governing the Ungovernable whitepaper on agentic AI governance, and holds current non-executive director experience on ASX-listed boards. She is known among the boards she sits on for her directness, her intolerance of theatre and avoidance, and her insistence that good governance is architecture, not sentiment.

Why no AI governance is credible if the data and cyber systems underneath it aren't governed first and the board-level checklist to test whether yours is ready.
